Just hangin' out

Such a little guy!

It's never too young to start them on tea. My mom can't wait for their first tea party! (I just found out that you don't have to have actual tea at a tea party. I always made a pot and had my mom put it and milk and sugar in my Fisher Price tea set for me and my dolls. Then I assembled everyone's tea and drank it all. I thought that was what everyone did...)

The Shea-Hey Kid

To: Dylan | From: Santa
What IS it??
Oh I see... (He's holding it all by himself! He is officially 3-months old!)
I get it! Dad, throw me a ball!
Awesome. Can't wait for April...

Christmas morning

With Grandma, all bundled up.
Dylan's first tree! The stool from the Abbey Lounge held all the presents quite well. And Dylan sat very well for this photo. Well, he leaned well at least.
His first present. Richard Scarry's "Cars and Trucks from A to Z"
Reading his card from his Great-Grandma Eleanor
He got five bucks! Thanks!
Helping Daddy
Using his hands
Christmas is exhausting!
But it's pretty fun!

Are you ready for your close up, Mr. Dylan?

Ah-choo! (Bless you)

Merry Christmas!

Dylan was a trooper during the Christmas photo shoot.

Dylan enjoys the kitchen

Baby in a pot! (Dylan soup for dinner)
Baby on the fridge!
Dylan hung out with Mommy as she tidied up the apartment. His face says it all. (He prefers the place a mess...)

Trip to the Park

Dylan was a champ at the park. He didn't cry once and seemed to enjoy the fresh air. 64 degrees on December 3...

kickety kick kick

We keep showing him how to swat at things with his hands, but seeing as he's not really ready for that yet, I took his foot and hit the shapes with it. He totally got it! And then he started doing it himself! I'm so proud...

So much to say!

2 months old today!

This is his Thanksgiving/2-month Birthday outfit.
Check out the drool!
What a face!
The vest is from Guatemala and was mine when I was a baby. Dylan looks like a cowboy in it.
Apparently, once when I wore it when I was 4 or 5 months old, I demanded to try some lasagna which I promptly threw up. I think Dylan is a little young to ask for big people food, but who knows, he could spit up all over the vest before the day is over...

Well, he did throw up, but it was in the car and I had taken the vest off of him. Poor little guy! But we changed him and he was just fine. As long as he doesn't wear the vest...
