Half birthday sugar high fun

Hi there!

Hey up there! Hi!

I am an expert at this tummy time business. I can turn from front-to-back and back-to-front, on command. Next step: crawling. Watch out parents, Dylan is mobile!

Because babies shouldn't eat eggs and dairy before their first birthday, I made Dylan half a vegan cake (because it's his half birthday) with avocado frosting. The cake tastes good but has a weird texture. And the frosting was surprisingly good!
Mesmerized by the flames

I know I put everything into my mouth, but there's an exception to every rule.
That was weird, like, really weird.
I need more frosting please. Or I'll keep making this face.
This was during his sugar high. He kept kicking his legs and moving all about.
Thank you, Mommy and Daddy, for the lovely birthday party. I look forward to my first birthday.

His highchair (is covered with peas)

I know I should be strapped in seeing as though I'm only 6-months-old, but see, I have to discover what everything tastes like, so gimme a minute, okay?

Bath time!

Watching the ceiling fan
Zoning out...
When he has no toys to play with, he plays with his feet.

What a cutie!

Such a well dressed guy!

Dylan had a great time with Matthew and Liz! So did we!

At the playground...on the ground

Dylan discovers the grass
His posture is so great!

So squirmy! All he wants to do is stand up!

Aw... baby and Daddy are so beautiful!

About 5 minutes later...

Babies in swing look smaller than in real life.
Am I having fun yet?
Mamma's having fun
It's not so bad!
