Apple Picking
Ah, Fall in New England.
He decided that he wanted to carry the apple bag. Be my guest!
He was having a rough day.
But he was a trooper!

Train Transfer
Dylan's Uncle Chris got him a new train set that we keep in his room. It's just a track that goes in an oval, but it came with a motorized Thomas, and it might be Dylan's favorite toy. Every day Dylan has to decide which trains belong upstairs and which belong downstairs. On this day he decided that ALL his trains had to go upstairs, so I gave him a bag and said he could have them if he carried them himself. No problem!
Chillin'
He just woke up. I think he missed the chair and decided that he was perfectly comfortable where he landed.
I have turned my boy into a nail biter. I feel terrible about it, but at least his nails stay short and I don't have to fight with him to cut his nails...
"Mamma, it's all your fault." Yes, baby, I know. He peels grapes now, too.
Birth Matters
We're having another baby in February. In preparation, I read Ina May Gaskin's new book Birth Matters: A Midwife's Manifesta. Dylan is, of course, very interested in natural birth as well as trains and buses, so he enjoyed the book as well.

Easel flip book
Dylan's great-grandmother got him an easel for his 2nd birthday. He loves it! So far he's used the chalk board (as you can see) and crayons with the roll of paper. Mike won't let him use the paints yet because he's afraid of the mess...

Topsfield Fair - running around
Mike took Dylan to the Topsfield Fair. They managed to run around all day and, by looks of the pictures, avoid all people. It looks like they found an abandoned fairground and had a great day.
