For my birthday, Mike and Dylan went out and got me donuts from Demet's down the street from us in Medford. Dylan had 3 donuts. 3! Raised sugar, old fashioned, and boston cream (he eats anything with chocolate from the top down. It's very odd to witness.)

We went to Red Bones for my birthday lunch. Dee Dee slept the whole time, and I love her for that. You can see the plate of ribs on the right side of the picture.

Dylan did pretty well. He ate some chicken fingers and fries and tried an arnold palmer (half lemonade, half iced tea - they make kids cups by filling a take out container and poking a hole in the top for the straw (in the forefront) - ingenious!) But here and in the following photos he's just eating ketchup.

I call this the "in the ketchup zone" stare.

It was the best birthday ever, mostly because I got to spend it with my family.
